Mobs and their fighting.
Mobs and their fighting.
I use to play ffxi. One thing i like about that game is hate management/mob control. For anyone who has played this will know what I mean. Is there anyway to take hate off someone in your partly, like near instantly? How is hate determined in game against mobs? I use to think it was damage dealt but I did test's with henchmen and it really just seems random or who is the closest to the mob. Although they will go after the healer very consistently. I love the fact in this game that you can have very interesting/challenging battles with MANY mobs at the same time. The one thing I hate about ffxi. You can only fight one at a time (when at higher levels) and you have to be in a party. If 5 mobs came after you there would be 300 people all running to zone lol. |

From what I can see is it's the closest person to them who's also doing the most damage. If there is nothing attacking it they go for the healer as soon as they heal. But as long as somebody is hitting it and the healers/nukers stay back the mob will stay on the tank.
